SHAMELESS! SHEILA JACKSON LEE SAYS TEACHER IS RACIST FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT UNITED GIVING HER FIRST CLASS SEAT TO CONGRESSWOMAN

Posted on Updated on

Jean-Marie Simon was bumped from her seat by United airline out of favoritism toward Democrat congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee – and Lee says Simon is just being racist.

‘Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African American woman, seemingly an easy target along with the African American flight attendant who was very, very nice.’

From Daily Mail:

In a statement on Saturday, Jackson Lee said: ‘I asked for nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary and received nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary.’

Jackson Lee said Simon, who is white, confronted a black flight attendant about the perceived slight.

The congresswoman suggested that her grievance may have something to do with the fact that she is an African American.

‘Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African American woman, seemingly an easy target along with the African American flight attendant who was very, very nice,’ Jackson Lee said in the statement.

‘This saddens me, especially at this time of year given all of the things we have to work on to help people.

‘But in the spirit of this season and out of the sincerity of my heart, if it is perceived that I had anything to do with this, I am kind enough to simply say sorry.’

Simon denied any suggestions she was a racist.

‘I had no idea who was in my seat when I complained at the gate that my seat had been given to someone else,’ she said

SOURCE: UNITED KNOWS SHEILA JACKSON LEE PLAYS THE RACE CARD IF SHE’S NOT TREATED LIKE ‘ROYALTY’

  • Sheila Jackson Lee suggested that the school teacher’s grievance may have something to do with the fact that she is an African American.
  • One person said he had witnessed Lee ‘cutting in line and rudely taking advantage of her status before’. He claimed that United knows Lee would play the race card if ‘she isn’t treated like royalty’.

( Daily Mail ) A school teacher from Washington, DC has accused United Airlines of evicting her from her first-class seat and giving it to senior Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

Jean-Marie Simon, 63, was preparing to board her final flight home from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston on December 18 after an hour-long weather delay when she was told by the gate attendant that her ticket was not in the system.

…She was told by another passenger that her original seat was occupied by a congresswoman and that he had seen her do it twice before.

Other people on the flight claim they have witnessed the congresswoman carry out similar behavior at least three times before.

‘I’ve seen Lee and IAH cutting in line and rudely taking advantage of her status before. United knows she will play the race card if she isn’t treated like royalty so they just give in. They don’t care about a hard working teacher vs a privileged idiot,’ one person tweeted.

Simon said before take off the plane was delayed for nearly an hour due to mechanical problems. During this time Simon said she went to the front of the plane and snapped a picture of Jackson Lee in her seat.

She then told a flight attendant she believed she was bumped from her seat by the airline out of favoritism toward a senior politician.

Jackson Lee (seen above giving a speech in Washington, DC on September 20) suggested that Simon, who is white, complained to the airline because she and one of the flight attendants are African American women, thus making them easy targets

SHEILA’S ALLEGED PAST BEHAVIOR:

Simon claims she was told by another passenger that her original seat was occupied by Sheila Jackson Lee and that he had seen her do it twice before.

Other people on the flight claim they have witnessed the congresswoman carry out similar behavior at least three times before.

One person said he had witnessed Lee ‘cutting in line and rudely taking advantage of her status before’. He claimed that United knows Lee would play the race card if ‘she isn’t treated like royalty’.

Reports from back in 1995 when Lee first came to Washington allege that she was routinely chauffeured just one block to work in a government car at the taxpayers’ expense, the Standard reports.

BLACK PRIVILEGE! UNITED AIRLINES GAVE TEACHER’S SEAT TO DEM CONGRESSWOMAN SHEILA JACKSON LEE

Posted on Updated on

United Airlines took my seat and gave it to a politician: woman

( NY Post ) A teacher from Washington, D.C., accused United Airlines of booting her from her first class seat in order to give it to a congresswoman, she wrote in an account that the politician has since contested.

Jean-Marie Simon was at Bush International in Houston on her way home from a trip to Guatemala last week, when she witnessed U.S. Rep Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) get ushered onto the plane before everyone else lined up, she wrote on Facebook.

When it came time for her to board the Dec. 18 flight, Simon said the gate attendant told her that her ticket was not in the system.

“A second United agent confirmed that I had no seat, not just the first class seat I had purchased, but no seat, period. I didn’t even have a reservation anymore,” she wrote.

When she was asked if she’d canceled her reservation, she said she hadn’t, she just wanted to get home.

“I said I wanted my seat, that I had paid a lot of miles for that seat, and that it was United’s responsibility to undo the seat assignment and return it to me, the person who had paid for it,” she wrote.

VIDEO OF POLICE DRAGGING BUMPED UNITED AIRLINE PASSENGER AFTER OVERBOOKED FLIGHT TO MAKE ROOM FOR STAFF

Posted on Updated on

Outrageous! An O’Hare airport cop slammed a United Airlines passenger into an arm rest, dragging the bleeding and unconscious Chinese man who was bumped off the overbooked flight to make room for airline’s own staff.

From Daily Mail:

An airport cop who body-slammed a United passenger and dragged him off an overbooked flight was put on leave today – as his bosses condemned his actions amid mounting outrage over video of the incident.

The Chicago Department of Aviation said it ‘obviously’ did not condone the behavior of the security officer who was filmed slamming the man into an arm rest, knocking him unconscious and dragging him away by his arms as he bled from the mouth at O’Hare.

United is facing growing anger after they selected the 69-year-old man – who claimed to be a doctor – to be bumped from the overbooked flight to Louisville to make room for its staff on Sunday night.

The airline’s CEO apologized today even as new video emerged of the man, who had refused to leave the flight, bleeding heavily from the mouth and mumbling about suicide in the aftermath of his brutal treatment.

In the clip, the dazed man chants ‘just kill me, just kill me’ as blood pours from his mouth.

It seems to have been filmed after another clip that shows the victim somehow broke free from the airport cops and ran back onto the plane chanting ‘I need to go home, I need to go home.’

Their statement released on Sunday night said:  ‘Aviation Officers arrived on scene attempted to carry the individual off of the flight when he fell. His head subsequently struck an armrest causing injuries to his face.’

It claimed that the man had begun yelling his displeasure at being selected to leave and was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Today the department retreated from the statement, referring all enquiries to the Aviation Department.

HOW DOES UNITED DECIDE WHO GETS BUMPED FROM OVERBOOKED FLIGHTS?

United’s contract of carriage states that passengers to be forcibly taken off a flight in the event of overbooking will be ‘determined based on a passenger’s fare class, itinerary, status of frequent flyer program membership, and the time in which the passenger presents him/herself for check-in without advanced seat assignment.’

That means that if you have a certain type of fare class, checked in early, have a flier status such as gold, or even just own a barely used frequent flier card, you are less likely to be bumped.

But passengers taking advantage of budget seats appear to be of less value to the airline

Social media was flooded with outrage from people who had seen the videos, with many threatening to boycott the airline

WRONG! UNITED DID NOT BAN GIRL FROM FLIGHT BECAUSE SHE WAS WEARING LEGGINGS – IT’S THE EMPLOYEE PASS!

No, United Did Not Ban Two Girls From A Flight Simply Because They Wore Leggings

Speaking with the Washington Post, a United Airlines spokesman expanded, stating the passengers that were turned away were attempting to board using a United employee pass.

This pass, according to the spokesman, comes with its own dress policy.

“Our regular passengers are not going to be denied boarding because they are wearing leggings or yoga pants,” said the spokesman. “But when flying as a pass traveler, we require [these] pass travelers to follow rules, and that is one of the rules.”

Continuing, he said, “they were not compliant with the dress policy with the benefit,” adding that the teens were aware of the rule.

The Washington Post states that travelers familiar with United’s travel pass say “it has long been a requirement for those using the benefit to dress up more than paying passengers.”

The rationale? These travelers are “representing” the company, as the spokesman puts it, according to The New York Times.

SCARY! UNITED AIRLINES FEMALE PILOT GOING THROUGH DIVORCE REMOVED FROM FLIGHT AFTER RANTING ABOUT TRUMP, HILLARY AND HER DIVORCE: “Don’t worry. I’m going to let my co-pilot fly it. He’s a man.”

Posted on

A United Airlines pilot was removed from a plane before a flight from Austin to San Francisco Saturday evening for 'ranting about her divorce and the presidential election'

  • ‘Sorry I’m late, the reason I’m late is I’m going through a divorce,”
  • “Don’t worry. I’m going to let my co-pilot fly it. He’s a man.”

( Buzzfeed ) A pilot was removed from a United Airlines flight Saturday after she used the plane’s intercom system to go on a bizarre rant ranging from her divorce to thoughts on President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The strange comments rattled passengers, prompting dozens to walk off the plane as it prepared for takeoff from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. Witnesses said the pilot called Trump and Clinton “assholes” and pointed out an interracial couple sitting in the cabin, causing passengers to question her ability to fly the plane

“She said, ‘Sorry I’m late, the reason I’m late is I’m going through a divorce,” Randy Reiss, a passenger aboard the flight told BuzzFeed News. “It quickly went from playful to scary.”

The pilot seemed friendly at first, Reiss said, and some passengers even let out what sounded like empathetic “oh’s and aw’s” when she said she was going through a divorce.

But things took a turn when the pilot pointed out an interracial couple sitting in first class, Reiss said, making several passengers uncomfortable. She then said, “Look, I don’t care if you voted for Trump or Clinton, they’re both assholes,” Reiss recalled.

In a video captured by a passenger during the incident, the pilot, who was not in her airline uniform but instead wearing a green blouse and green cap, can be heard acknowledging that some people on the plane appeared nervous.

“So I’ll stop, and we’ll fly the plane,” she says. “Don’t worry. I’m going to let my co-pilot fly it. He’s a man.”
