Debt collectors target porn star's rainy day fund in case against attorney Avenatti

  • Michael Avenatti and Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, set up a crowdfunding website for her lawsuit and legal fees in March. More than 16,500 people have donated to Daniels and Avenatti—reaching more than $577,000, according to CrowdJustice, which runs the fund.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels could become entangled in the legal controversies surrounding her attorney Michael Avenatti, as a lawyer seeks millions in legal fees from his firm — potentially including money raised for Daniels’ case.

Last month, a federal bankruptcy court ordered Eagan Avenatti to pay $10 million to attorney Jason Frank, who used to work at the firm and claimed the company stiffed him on the first installment of a $4.85 million settlement.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Frank has since asked a bankruptcy judge to give him access to all legal fees (up to $10 million) the firm could collect from clients in dozens of cases, including Daniels’ bid to nix a nondisclosure agreement concerning an alleged sexual encounter with President Trump.

That reportedly could put the money raised through a crowdfunding site in the crosshairs.

Avenatti Exposed: Stormy’s Lawyer Owes IRS $5 Million, 45 Lawsuits Over Failed Venture, May Face Disbarment

Posted on Updated on

( Zero Hedge ) After appearing on CNN 59 times to claim the moral high ground over President Trump’s alleged decade-old affair with Daniels, skeletons in Avenatti’s closet are now beginning to pour out.

Questions have emerged over who’s funding Avenattihow he was privy to Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s bank recordsand how exactly did he obtain banking transactions for two men also named Michael Cohen, who he wrongly accused in a seven-page “dossier” released this week.

Other questions have come to light over a bankrupt coffee chain Avenatti left in smoldering ashes with $5 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS, an alleged $160,000 owed for unpaid coffee, and over 45 lawsuits filed in connection with the failed venture.

Bitter coffee deal

As outlined in a legal complaint seeking Avenatti’s disbarment, the balding provocateur “bought a company out of bankruptcy and then used it for a “pump and dump” scheme to deprive federal and state taxing authorities of millions of dollars,” which left over $5 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS.

Avenatti purchased Tully’s out of bankruptcy in 2013, in partnership with actor Patrick Dempsey, who is best known for his role as Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd in the TV show “Grey’s Anatomy.” Dempsey sued Avenatti in August 2013 to break off the partnership.

Since then, Tully’s has significantly struggled. More than 45 lawsuits have been filed against the chain’s parent company, which Avenatti says he no longer owns. In 2017, the company owed roughly $5 million in unpaid taxes to the Internal Revenue Service. And, in March, the coffee chain abruptly closed all locations. –Business Insider

STORMY DANIELS ONCE RAN FOR U.S. SENATE IN 2009 – YEAR SHE WAS ARRESTED FOR BEATING HER HUSBAND

Posted on

DID YOU KNOW Porno Actress Stormy Daniels Was ARRESTED For Beating Her Husband?…Did You Know She Also Ran For US Senator In 2009 Against A Republican?

( 100%Fedup ) I bet you didn’t know that Stormy Daniels ran for US Senate against a Republican in 2009. I bet you didn’t know that she was arrested on domestic abuse charges in 2009. I bet you didn’t know her campaign manager’s car was blown up while he was out for a walk with his wife. Why does the media never mention Daniels’ political ambitions when they talk about her coordinated smear campaign agaisnt Donald Trump? Why do they never mention her domestic abuse charges or that her campaign manager’s car was blown up under suspicious circumstances?

While the mainstream media attempts to remake the XXX actress’ image to look more like a school librarian, than a porn star in her appearances on fake news cable outlets and a variety of late night shows, the fact of the matter is, she’s still a pornography actress with political ambitions, and apparently a violent temper to boot.

……

In February 2009, CNN did a story on Daniels political ambitions. Funny, that CNN’s Andersen Cooper never mentioned her arrest for domestic abuse, or her run for US Senate against a Republican candidate.

From the CNN article (promotional piece):

“I think anyone that knows me … is more than aware of that,” Daniels said. “Politics can’t be any dirtier of a job than the one I am already in.”

According to a capsule bio on the Draft Stormy Web site, Daniels has been “breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings her entire life,” serving as editor of her high school newspaper and president of her school’s 4-H Club and eventually transferring “her determination and talents to the professional level, becoming a featured performer in the adult entertainment industry.”

New Fake Russia Story! Michael Cohen -Russian Oligarch Tale by Stormy Daniels Lawyer

Posted on Updated on

  • The Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg has a U.S. affiliate called Columbus Nova and that is the company that handed out the payments. Only Vekselberg doesn’t own it or run it.
  • An attorney for Columbus Nova said the management firm is owned and controlled by Americans, not Vekselberg.
  • After the inauguration, the firm hired Michael Cohen as a business consultant regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures,” the statement said.
  • Cohen accepted the money after he announced he was leaving the Trump administration and starting a consulting firm. That is commonplace and legal. Most D.C. lawyers would be imprisoned if it were illegal.

There is evidence it’s not true.

Stormy’s attorney claimed in a tweet that “After significant investigation, we have discovered that Mr. Trump’s atty Mr. Cohen received approximately $500,000 in the mos. after the election from a company controlled by a Russian Oligarc with close ties to Mr. Putin. These monies may have reimbursed the $130k payment.”

The money came 75 days after the Stormy payment and that’s the evidence. Cohen’s lawyer Steve Ryan said the money wasn’t a payment. The company officials also say it’s now owned by Vekselberg.

Michael Cohen did accept hundreds of thousands of dollars from various companies such as Novartis and AT&T after the election to provide insight into the new administration. Cohen accepted the money after he announced he was leaving the Trump administration and starting a consulting firm. That is commonplace and legal. Most D.C. lawyers would be imprisoned if it were illegal.

The Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg has a U.S. affiliate called Columbus Nova and that is the company that handed out the payments. Only Vekselberg doesn’t own it or run it.

“In a statement, an attorney for Columbus Nova said the management firm is owned and controlled by Americans, not Viktor Vekselberg,” NBC News reported. NBS News wrote:

In a statement, an attorney for Columbus Nova said the management firm is owned and controlled by Americans, not Vekselberg.

After the inauguration, the firm hired Michael Cohen as a business consultant regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures,” the statement said.

“Reports today that Viktor Vekselberg used Columbus Nova as a conduit for payments to Michael Cohen are false. The claim that Viktor Vekselberg was involved or provided any funding for Columbus Nova’s engagement of Michael Cohen is patently untrue.

“Neither Viktor Vekselberg nor anyone else other than Columbus Nova’s owners, were involved in the decision to hire Cohen or provided funding for his engagement.”

Mr. Avenatti claimed that Mr. Cohen had his bank account replenished by oligarch Victor Vekselberg to make up for paying $130,000 to Stormy. He presents zero evidence any payments are connected to Stormy the floozy.

Avenatti posted his report online, but there was no evidence. The payments allegedly made — after the election — don’t show any nexus. And we now know the company isn’t owned or run by Vekselberg.

Michael Cohen had admitted he paid $130,000 to Stormy Daniels. There is no evidence any money he got from any company is tied to the Stormy payment 75 days before. It’s a tale made up out of whole cloth.

STORMY DANIELS ‘SKETCH’ OF MAN WHO THREATENED HER LOOKS LIKE HER EX-HUSBAND GLENDON CRAIN

Posted on Updated on

  • Doesn’t the sketch of the man that allegedly threatened Stormy Daniels look a lot like her ex-husband Glendon Crain?

Looks like Stormy Daniels gave a description of her ex-“husband”, Glendon Crain,  for the “sketch” of a man who allegedly threatened her 12 years ago over her so-called affair with germaphone Trump. No wonder she said she will never forget the face. Well, you were married to the guy. Duh!

The ex-husband was arrested in 2015 for attempting to ‘recklessly cause bodily injury’ by pushing her to the ground but abuse charges were finally dropped two weeks ago – just before her 60 Minutes interview.

Stormy Daniels cancels appearance at Detroit strip club

  • Stormy Daniels cancelled her appearance at a  Detroit strip club after a private jet was unable to get her to the venue

( Daily Mail ) Motor City suffered another devastating blow on Wednesday, with Stormy Daniels cancelling an appearance at a local strip club for the second time.

Daniels had been scheduled to perform at Truth Detroit at 8pm, 10pm and midnight, but had to cancel when trouble arose with her mode of transport – a private jet.

‘Due to travel delays, I will not be arriving in Detroit in time to get the required permit so I’m disappointed to say I will not be performing tonight. I will see you soon though!’ wrote Daniels on Twitter.

This is the second time Daniels has canceled on the club, having previously pulled out just before a scheduled appearance on March 14 citing strep throat.

The Detroit Free Press was the first to report the news.

Three FBI Raids on Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen a Referral from Mueller – Stormy Daniels an excuse

Posted on Updated on

  • The FBI seized emails, tax documents, and business records, a person briefed on the search told the New York Times. The seized records reportedly include communications between Trump and Cohen.
  • The raids were “in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
  • Trump called the situation a “disgrace,” and called the special investigation a “total witch hunt” and an “attack on our country.”

The FBI raided President Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen’s office, home and hotel room on Monday, to seize documents related to several issues, including payments his to porn-star Stormy Daniels.

Cohen’s lawyer, Stephen Ryan, released a statement that said the raids were “in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

“The decision by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York to conduct their investigation using search warrants is completely inappropriate and unnecessary,” Ryan said. He added:

“It resulted in the unnecessary seizure of protected attorney client communications between a lawyer and his clients. These government tactics are also wrong because Mr. Cohen has cooperated completely with all government entities, including providing thousands of non-privileged documents to the Congress and sitting for depositions under oath.”

Trump called the situation a “disgrace,” and called the special investigation a “total witch hunt” and an “attack on our country.”

When asked if he would fire Mueller, Trump held the door open.

“We’ll see what happens..Many people have said you should fire him,” he said. He also noted that firing former FBI Director James Comey turned out to be “the right thing.”

A spokesman for the special counsel referred Fox News to U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 28, Section 600.4 in regards to Mueller’s referral. The code said:

“If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel concludes that additional jurisdiction beyond that specified in his or her original jurisdiction is necessary in order to fully investigate and resolve the matters assigned, or to investigate new matters that come to light in the court of his or her investigation, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General, who will determine whether to include the additional matters within the Special Counsel’s jurisdiction or assign them elsewhere.”

Cohen had recently said he had paid the porn actress, whose name is Stephanie Cliffords, $130,000 in 2016, as the presidential campaign was underway.

Cliffords has claimed she had a one-time sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. She said Cohen paid her the money in the days before the election, as part of a nondisclosure agreement. Trump has denied knowing about the payment.
