Then Raiders staffers covered Marshawn Lynch as he sat during the national anthem.
As NFL boycott continues, NFL owners may not be able to afford their entitled players their millions and we may see early bankruptcy from these millionaire athletes.
Btw, watch out because the loony libs from Hollywood to their paid protesters are going to start wearing this t-shirt.
Here’s Marshawn’s not so clean criminal past:
- In June 2008, Lynch pled guilty to a hit and run charge and had his driver’s license revoked. Lynch was driving his 2008 Porsche Cayenne at 3:30 a.m. through Buffalo’s bar district when he struck a woman in the street and failed to stop. When questioned, Lynch stated, “I didn’t know my car had hit anyone or anything.”[
- Lynch was arrested on July 14, 2012, by the California Highway Patrol for DUI after he was observed driving erratically
- Was arrested on felony charges for possession of a concealed firearm
- In 2006, as Lynch was about to enter his junior season at California, he was the target of a drive-by shooting outside his prep alma mater, Oakland Technical
Two Victory & Praise Christian Academy football players were kicked off the team for protesting during the national anthem at a game Friday night.
Cedric Ingram-Lewis raised his fist while cousin Larry McCullough knelt during the anthem ahead of the team’s game against Providence Classical.
After the anthem ended, head coach Ronnie Mitchem instructed them to take off their uniforms and kicked them off the team. Mitchem is a former Marine and pastor who started the church-based football program in Crosby six years ago.
Ingram-Lewis, a sophomore, said the topic of protesting had come up in the locker room before and his cousin McCullough, a senior, even announced he would kneel via social media. The coach had told players he did not want anyone to kneel, citing his service in the military.
“He told us that disrespect will not be tolerated,” said Ingram-Lewis, one of the booted players. “He told us to take off our uniform and leave it there.”
( Daily Caller ) ESPN turned into a running political talk show on Monday that centered around one man: President Trump.
Trump’s battle with the NFL over national anthem protests dominated ESPN’s morning and afternoon shows, which at times sounded more like CNN than a sports channel. ESPN’s analysts were overwhelmingly critical of the president.
ESPN host Stephen A. Smith claimed during one segment that Trump’s attack on the NFL was part of a nefarious “grand scheme” from the president. (RELATED: ESPN Pundit Upset That A Former Army Ranger Stood For The National Anthem)
“I personally believe Donald Trump has a grand scheme, I think his aspiration is to own a network when this is all said and done and make sure he has his strong-arm of influence,” Smith said. “That is a different story for a different day.” He also compared Trump’s response to the national anthem protests to the comments he made on violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville.
Smith claimed during another segment that the battle between Trump and the NFL isn’t about politics: it’s just about Trump.
“This is not about politics at all. This is about one man, one individual who continuously displays just a lack of decorum and respect and is as divisive as they come,” Smith said, before applauding LeBron James and other athletes who have criticized the president.
When asked if Sunday’s protests were primarily against Trump rather than against racial injustice, ESPN commentator and former NFL safety Louis Riddick simply responded, “Sure.”
“Sure, because the players felt attacked and disrespected. The players are like, you are going there name calling because we are trying to protest against something we have a right and freedom to protest against peacefully, and you make it personal and use derogatory names and paint us all with a derogatory brush?” Riddick said.
NFL wants an empty stadium. ESPN, NFL and NBA want to politicize sports but the president cannot respond to their dumb tantrums.
Shaun King tweets:
Black Lives Matter leader and activist, now claims that he has talked to over 75 NFL players who are all planning on protesting the national anthem before their teams’ games Sunday.
This is after President Trump took aim directly at NFL players who chose to “disrespect the flag” and protest the national anthem during a speech at an Alabama rally on Friday and in tweets over the weekend.
NBC SPORTS CRAIG CALCATERRA ATTACKS AMERICAN FLAG AT BASEBALL GAME, CALLS IT ‘POLITICAL’ AND ‘SYMBOL OF MILITARY, NOT AMERICA’
Liberal NBC Sports baseball writer, Craig Calcaterra, doesn’t get goose bumps and patriotic feelings whenever he sees an American flag during sports event. He thinks the use of American flag is political and needs to stop. Last Saturday during a baseball game, Calcaterra tweeted:
“Will you keep politics out of sports, please. We like sports to be politics-free”
Then Calcaterra followed up the tweet with another loony answer:
“Maybe a flag, in and of itself isn’t always political. A two-acre flag with a military flyover is saying something very specific, however.”
He also believes the American flag is no longer a symbol of America but the military:
Update, the flag is no longer a symbol of America. It is specifically for the military. Only.
Calaterra is also busy on twitter throwing F-bombs to his critics. Example below:
