Breitbart previously reported on Jihad Watch’s suspension and the founder of the website, Robert Spencer, calling for a boycott of PayPal if they continued to “bow to leftism.” Many Jihad Watch supporters took to Twitter to express their anger over the website’s suspension:
Edmonton terror attack: Chaos in Canada as cops stabbed by man with ISIS flag and pedestrians ploughed into during terror attack
The cop was sent flying 15ft into the air and knifed ‘several times’ by the attacker who fled on foot
The Sun reported:
A POLICE officer was stabbed and terrified pedestrians mowed down during a terror attack in Canada.
The 30-year-old rammed a van into a police car sending the officer flying 15ft into the air.
He then jumped out the car and knifed the cop “several times” and fled on foot as a dramatic manhunt was launched.
Police chased down the attacker as he drove through the packed out streets in downtown Edmonton.
He then ploughed into four pedestrians leaving them with multiple injuries before he was arrested after flipping the van on to its side.
Edmonton Police Chief Rod Knecht said the incidents are being investigated “as an act of terror” and that the attacker acted alone.
The rented van had an ISIS flag in the front seat, he confirmed.
TRAIN JIHAD: AL QAEDA PUBLISHES GUIDE FOR DERAILING TRAINS IN U.S., EUROPE….FROM CARS, TRUCKS, VANS, NOW TRAINS?
Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has released the 17th edition of its Inspire magazine, in which the group calls on supporters to strike trains in the US and Europe.
The editors of Inspire say that followers can choose from one of three modes of attack. They can directly target the train from “either inside or from outside,” or target “the rail itself so as to derail the train,” or assault train stations, which “are always crowded and cause major interruption towards the transportation system.”
The latest issue of Inspire focuses mainly on the second means of attack, providing readers with step-by-step instructions for building a train derailment device. An 18-page guide to building a derail tool is included in the 97-page electronic magazine and signed by the “AQ Chef,” a name that has been attached to previous AQAP ideas, such as a how-to guide for building bombs that was published in Inspire years ago. The “AQ Chef” claims that the magazine’s “train derail” design is similar to the “industrial” tool “used by the track management staff” when they need to derail a train with faulty breaks.
The instructions begin with the building of a mold and end with the construction of a metal derail device. “We will keep away from using any electronic tools or tools that are specially used in construction…so as to remove any traces for suspicion,” the do-it-yourself guide reads.
This “weapon” has several advantages, according to AQAP. It is “[e]asy to design” and easy to “hide your tracks from forensics after the operation.” It will supposedly befuddle security agencies and leave the enemy “confused and disoriented.”
Interestingly, AQAP touts the fact that this type of “operation” does not require “martyrdom” and therefore “can be repeated.”
Hours after the new Inspire magazine was released online, the New York Police Department (NYPD) Counterterrorism Bureau responded with a series of messages on its official Twitter feed.
“We’ve known about the content & threats presented in the current issue of AQAP’s Inspire 17 prior to its release,” one NYPD tweet, seen on the right, reads. “Our robust multi-layered counterterrorism apparatus is designed to protect our air, land, waterways and railways in #NYC,” another tweet reads.
Al Qaeda has targeted trains in the past
Targeting trains is hardly a new idea, of course. On Mar. 11, 2004, al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists placed ten bombs in backpacks and bags on board commuter trains in Madrid, Spain, killing 191 people and wounding nearly two thousand more.
In 2009, US officials thwarted an al Qaeda plot against commuter trains in the New York City area.
In 2013, Canadian authorities arrested two men who were plotting to derail trains traveling between Toronto and New York City. Canadian officials determined that the two jihadists, who were subsequently convicted on terrorism charges, received “support from al Qaeda elements located in Iran” in the form of “direction and guidance.”
In addition to trains and planes, al Qaeda has also attacked other transportation nodes in the past. The July 7, 2005 London bombings, which are referenced in the new edition of Inspire, targeted commuters during rush hour.
- Jihad Watch and the AFDI, an organization founded by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, had their PayPal account suspended and promptly reinstated on Tuesday following public outrage.
On Tuesday, it was announced by Jihad Watch that their account had been reinstated by PayPal. Breitbart spoke to the website’s director, Robert Spencer, who stated,
PayPal was inundated with complaints and cancellations of accounts from people who understand that my work is not “hateful,” and that it is not hate to oppose jihad terror and Sharia oppression. And so they suddenly decided I wasn’t a “hate group” after all. They wrote me: “PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy in our User Agreement prohibits individuals and groups from using PayPal for activities that promote hate, violence, or racial intolerance. If we become aware of a website or organization using our services that may violate our polices, our dedicated team of professionals conducts a thorough review. Ultimately, a decision is made and communicated to the organization. In this instance, we have made the determination to lift the limitation applied to your account associated with the Acceptable Use Policy.”This is absurd, of course. They never made a “thorough review” of Jihad Watch either when they banned it or when they restored it. They just blow with the wind. And this isn’t over: the Left knows this, and will blow harder. We will have to fight hard to retain our freedoms.
Similarly, the AFDI, an organization founded by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, had their PayPal account suspended and promptly reinstated following public outrage:
( Daily Caller ) A Michigan-based Islamic preacher’s YouTube account may have helped radicalize one of Saturday’s London attackers, a friend of the attacker told BBCNews Asia.
The preacher, Ahmad Musa Jibril, is well known on youtube for preaching sermons that appear to lionize Islamic terrorists fighting in Syria. The friend of the attacker was so concerned by his obsession with the preacher’s sermons, it prompted him to notify the anti-terror police. The attacker and two accomplices killed seven and injured dozens more after plowing a car into a crowd and stabbing passersby before police could gun them down.
“He used to listen to a lot of Musa Jibril. I have heard some of this stuff and its very radical. I am surprised this stuff is still on YouTube and is easily accessible. I phoned the anti-terror hotline. I spoke to the gentleman. I told him about our conversation and why I think he was radicalised,” the friend told BBCNews.
The London attacker’s enamor with Jibril is no surprise. A 2014 Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence study found that Jibril’s facebook page was the most popular among European and North American jihadists fighting for the Islamic State. Peter Neumann of the Center said that Jibril “provides the political and theological justification” and “comfort” to jihadists, the Counter Extremism project noted.
MUSLIM THROW JEWISH WOMAN FROM HER APARTMENT WINDOW IN PARIS AFTER STABBING HER, SHOUTING ‘ALLAHU AKBAR’
( Gateway Pundit ) In a violent attack causing trepidation amongst Paris’ Jewish community, a 66-year-old Orthodox woman, Sarah Halimi, was murdered to the cry of ‘‘Allahu Akbar’’ early Tuesday morning, pushed from the window of her top-floor apartment in Paris’ 11th arrondissement.
The accused, a 27-year-old of Muslim origin known to police for a string of offenses, had broken into the apartment of his victim – reportedly scaling the exterior wall from the floor below where he lived with his parents – to stab his victim before throwing her to her death.
The lifeless body of Ms. Halimi was found on the ground beneath her apartment, having been pushed to her death from her third story window during the attack which took place at approximately 4:30am.
Three armed police were on the scene prior to the murder, according to neighbors, who also reported hearing the cry of ‘’Allahu Akbar’’ at the moment of the crime. Unconfirmed reports circulating on social media also suggest that Ms. Halimi had previously been harassed by a relative of the accused, and that she had been subjected to verbal abuse in the days leading up to the incident. Neighbors claim that the accused had been ”radicalized” and that police were waiting for an anti-terrorist unit to deal with the situation

Police confirmed a man was arrested after he was seen ‘brandishing a knife’ and ‘injuring people’ in front of horrified onlookers in Russell Square on Wednesday night. Officers arrived at the scene to find six people injured including one woman who died from her injuries a short time later. The condition of the other five is not yet known and police have not yet named or revealed the ages of the victims. One source said the suspect was seen to go ‘on the rampage’ with the weapon.
