- Trump took issue with cable news networks covering the rally before the crowd had fully filled in
- The Arizona Republic : Phoenix rally had a 15,000 crowd- 10,000 people inside, with another 4,000 to 5,000 outside the building.
( IJR ) Last Tuesday, after President Donald Trump’s speech at a campaign-style rally in Phoenix, much of the coverage initially dealt with his overall demeanor and the degree to which he was fired up. On Monday night, a new report revealed that he was already worked up before the speech because of how the TV coverage framed the crowd, leading to him drop his rally organizer.
Bloomberg Politics reports that the services of George Gigicos, who worked as a political aide for Trump longer than almost anyone, will no longer be required after Phoenix. A former White House director of advance who was contracted by the Republican Party, Gigicos is getting the blame for how the event looked on TV.
Trump apparently took issue with cable news networks covering the rally before the crowd had fully filled in, as, per one source that was cited, “TV optics and crowd sizes are extremely important to the president.” The visual appeared to have been hurt by most attendees having to stand, with minimal bleacher seating.
A spokesperson for the city told The Arizona Republic that there were about 10,000 people inside, with another 4,000 to 5,000 outside the building.
LOL! WHITE HOUSE LEAK: TRUMP WENT OFF SCRPIT, DID NOT FOLLOW TELEPROMPTER DURING PHOENIX RALLY…GOOD!
LOL! Anonymous “aides” have rushed, right on cue, to disavow Donald Trump’s fiery speech in Phoenix, Arizona Monday night and tell establishment media that they had nothing to do with the red meat the president served up to his fans.
White House, D.C. establishment and the media want President Trump to be presidential but when he is with his Deplorables, but that is not gonna happen. It’s always party time for Trump and his fans.
- Tuesday night, Trump returned to the greatest hits — and to an adoring crowd. He derided The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN — the crowd chanted “CNN sucks!” — and “little George Stephanopoulos” of ABC.
- “In the proud tradition of America’s great leaders, from George Washington — please, don’t take his statue down, please,” Trump said, bringing the crowd to a roar. “They’re trying to take away our culture. They are trying to take away our history.”
President Donald Trump spent much of last week hearing from friends, donors and aides that he needed to dial back some of his rhetoric in the wake of Charlottesville.
He gave his response on Tuesday night in Phoenix, with an angry, meandering and frequently disingenuous 75-minute rally address designed to soothe his ego, rev up his base, and remind the naysayers in Washington and New York that he can still command love from his crowd.
Aides said he had a carefully vetted message on a TelePrompTer, but his eyes quickly wandered away for a discursive, meandering torching of the news media —who he said didn’t care about the country.

After Trump’s rally last night in Phoenix, antifa thugs decided to be ‘confrontational’ against cops and they get red state response from the officers. Cops were firing off pepper balls and tear gas canisters and one antifa thug was hit on the groin by pepper ball.
The cops did the right thing – separate the thugs from Trump supporters as they were leaving the rally. Instead of usual stand down and watch them fight, police kept the thugs out of the way so people can leave safely.
Another video here where FOX Business Network host Jeff Flock screamed, “Holy sh*t!”
- Don Lemon: “Trump is clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country”
More epic meltdown from Don Lemon of CNN during Trump’s speech in Phoenix.
On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN Tonight,” anchor Don Lemon argued that President Trump is trying to incite a civil war in the US.
Lemon said that while he has argued in the past that removing the president from office before he finishes his first term is absurd, Trump “has given oxygen to racists. He hasn’t really said anything that denounced the alt-right. He talked about the KKK and whatever. He hasn’t really done that. He is clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country. He has not tamped down race. And I’m just going to say, if he was on my team, in this newsroom, and said those things, he would be escorted out of the building by security.”
Radical members of the left-wing John Brown Gun Club Phoenix Chapter showed up to the Phoenix rally Tuesday evening armed with AR-15’s and bullet proof vests. They claim they are in Phoenix to protect protesters from white supremacists.
We’ll see. Violence is a disease common among the left.

President Donald Trump is in Arizona Tuesday night and it’s Trump mania – long line, excited supporters who wait for hours. On the other hand, left-wing losers gather also to protest the president’s visit.

/pol/ is discussing plans to address the anti-Trump billboard in Phoenix, AZ.
( Milo ) Board members on 4chan’s /pol/ are apparently discussing plans to hijack an anti-Trump billboard in Pheonix, Arizona.
A Twitter account apparently associated with /pol/ tweeted out a brief run-through of their ideas.
One of the plans involves enlisting four drones – “three to hold up a giant facial cutout of crying Shia by long strings with clips on them and one similar to the gun drone to nail it to the billboard.”
