TRUMP AND FIRST LADY MELANIA CONDEMN VIOLENCE AT CHARLOTTESVILLE RALLY

  • “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides”

President Trump stated that the violent displays by white nationalists in Charlottesville, VA make him “very, very sad.”

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides,” the president said.

The president said that while hatred and violence erupt in Virginia there are “so many incredibly great things happening in our country,” such as economic growth.

“So when I watch Charlottesville to me it’s very, very sad.”

“We have to respect each other,” he said. “Ideally we have to love each other.”

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency this morning after the “Unite the Right” rally spiraled into rioting.

The Trumps and the Macrons dine at the Eiffel Tower

( Daily Mail ) President Donald Trump took his wife Melania out on the town Thursday evening in Paris, making the most of their brief stay in the City of Lights with a dinner at the Eiffel Tower.

The Trumps are dining tonight at Le Jules Verne, on the second floor of the famous French monument. They’re the guests of Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron, the first lady and president of France.

Donald Trump seated himself next to Brigitte Macron, with whom he’d shared an uncomfortable handshake with earlier in the day that lingered on a little too long -and in which she appeared to be trying to get him to let go.

He’d also told France’s 64-year-old first lady in remarks that were caught on tape: ‘You know, you’re in such good shape.’

The compliment was made in front of her husband, the 39-year-old French president, and Trump, 71, repeated it to him before turning back to Mme Macron and saying to her: ‘Beautiful.’

A French official Facebook live stream captured the interaction. What was not caught was Melania Trump’s reaction, as her back was to the camera.

However, the American first lady, 47,  seemed to move closer to Mme Macron and put her hand around her protectively as Trump spoke to her.

The awkward exchange came after Macron her husband welcomed Donald and Melania to Paris on the eve of Bastille Day.

Trump kissed Mme Macron Parisian-style, once on each cheek, before taking both her hands for a prolonged grip, in which he appeared to jerk her left arm towards him as she appeared to be struggling to get him to let go.

It was an off-script start to a carefully-choreographed visit to Paris which on Friday will see Trump and Macron together for the Bastille Day celebrations, as well the couple dining together on Thursday evening at the Eiffel Tower.

ELEGANT MELANIA SITS NEXT TO PUTIN AT G20 BANQUET – PHOTOS

After spending two and a half hours speaking to President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin had dinner seated beside the American leader’s wife, Melania.

The Trumps both met Putin for the first time on Friday, as the world’s top leaders gathered in Hamburg, Germany at the G20.

President Trump’s conversation with Putin signified the first time the Republican brought up Russia‘s hacking of the 2016 presidential election, which Putin promptly denied.

With the day’s business out of the way, the leaders enjoyed a concert and then a Friday night dinner, in which couples were split up and not seated with their spouses.

That’s how Melania Trump ended up next to Putin, with President Trump seated down the way, closer to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The first lady, who grew up in Slovenia, then a part of Yugoslavia, knows several languages including German, which the Russian president also speaks.

TRUMP RECEIVES HERO’S WELCOME IN POLAND, GOVT. TO BUS THOUSANDS TO HEAR WARSAW SPEECH

Trump is welcomed in Warsaw ahead of speech to thousands

  • Poles see Trump’s nationalism as a mirror of their own as they push back against EU mandates on immigration and refugee resettlement
  • ‘There is no love for Germany in Poland,’ one man said Wednesday on a Warsaw street; ‘Screw Russia. We don’t need Russia,’ said another
  • Trump will speak Thursday in Krasinski Square, where a monument stands to a 1944 popular uprising against German occupation

( Daily Mail ) The nation of Poland prepared a hero’s welcome for U.S. President Donald Trump in advance of his Wednesday night arrival in Warsaw. But the Polish government executed a decidedly understated ceremony to greet Air Force One at Chopin Airport.

Lawmakers in the formerly communist nation see in Trump a mirror of their own brand of nationalism that has seen many Poles bristle against an iron-fisted European Union centered on Germany.

Among the European nations, Poland is one of the holdouts against the notion of resettling massive numbers of foreigners.

‘The Polish government has the same position as Americans — we want strict restrictions on refugees,” legislator Krzysztof Mróz told The Wall Street Journal.

For Trump’s arrival, President Andrzej Duda sent his top aides to put on a far smaller affair than the all-out pomp and circumstance that awaited the U.S. leader in Saudi Arabia when he deplaned on his first foreign presidential trip six weeks ago.

…President Trump’s grand entrance in Warsaw will be seen worldwide before he sets foot in Germany, France or the United Kingdom, something that a White House official gamely said Wednesday was ‘half because of the calendar, and half on purpose, but not meant to be a stick in anyone’s eye.’

He will visit Hamburg on Friday and Saturday for a G20 summit, and Paris the following Friday for Bastille Day celebrations. No calendar has been set for a UK trip.

SHOCKING! MELANIA HAS 5 WH STAFFERS, MICHELLE HAD 24; TRUMP HAS 377, OBAMA HAD 487 – TOTAL $22 MILLION SAVINGS!

Posted on Updated on

  • Trump White House has 377 employees, Barack Obama had 487
  • Melania Trump has 5 staffers, Michelle Obama had 24
  • Michelle Obama had 24 “assistants, advisors, schedulers, directors, deputies, advance aides, associates, social and press secretaries and other helpers.”
  • White House budget is projected to save American taxpayers $22 million over the next four years

High-maintenance Michelle Obama had 24 White House staffers.

Melania Trump only has 5.

Forbes reports that the Trump administration’s annual report – released to Congress on Friday – covers 377 White House employees and projects a $5.1 million in payroll cuts for the financial year of 2015.Overall will save taxpayers $22 million over the next four years.

Meanwhile, Obama administration’s payroll had 110 more payees, according to government watchdog group OpenTheBooks.com)

Forbes states, “savings come from President Trump’s refusal to take a salary as well as big reductions in other areas including the absence of czars, expensive ‘fellowships,’ and spending on FLOTUS staff.”

“Our review of the Trump White House payroll confirms five staffers dedicated to First Lady Melania Trump,” Forbes states, adding that Michelle Obama had 24, including “assistants, advisors, schedulers, directors, deputies, advance aides, associates, social and press secretaries and other helpers.”

Forbes lists Melania Trump’s staff as containing a chief of staff, director of communications, social secretary, deputy chief of staff of operations and deputy director of advance.

Of the “fellowship” positions, Breitbart’s Warner Todd Huston describes such positions as “shady” and reports that said employees were “responsible for such special programs as Michelle Obama’s ‘Let Girls Learn’ initiative and others.”

“Some of these ‘fellowship’ candidates in Obama’s administration made up to $158,000 annually,” Huston continues.

Such positions appear to have been eliminated in the Trump administration’s budget.
