CANADA SCARED OF EL SALVADORANS INFLUX AFTER TRUMP’S DECISION:’PLEASE DON’T COME HERE’

Flip Flop Prime Minister of Canada
  • 2017 – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau:  “To those fleeing persecution, terror and war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith.”
  • 2018 – After Homeland Security announced it was withdrawing Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, for 200,000 Salvadorans: If you don’t qualify for refugee or asylum status, don’t try to cross into Canada.

OTTAWA – When the Trump administration issued an immigration ban on citizens of seven majority Muslim countries a year ago, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent out an unambiguous tweet about Canada’s stance on refugees and asylum seekers.

“To those fleeing persecution, terror and war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength,” Trudeau wrote on Jan. 28.

But when U.S. Homeland Security announced this week that it was withdrawing Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, for 200,000 Salvadorans, giving them 18 months to sort out their immigration status permanently or face deportation, the reaction from the Canadian government was more muted.

Fearing an influx of newcomers crossing “irregularly” into Canada from the United States, the Canadian government has embarked on an information campaign to discourage Salvadorans from trekking north, as thousands of Haitians did when threatened with a loss of protected status last summer.

The government announced that it was planning to send Pablo Rodriguez, a Spanish-speaking member of Parliament, to California in the coming days to speak to community groups, lawyers and Spanish-language media. His message is simple: If you don’t qualify for refugee or asylum status, don’t try to cross into Canada.

“Canada has a robust and structured immigration system that must be respected,” Argentina-born Rodriguez told La Presse newspaper in a French-language interview. “Before leaving your job, pulling your child from school and selling your house to come to Canada, make sure you understand the rules and the laws. Because if you don’t fill these criteria, chances are you’ll be returned, not to the U.S. but to your native country.”

The government also says there are plans for a “targeted digital campaign” aimed at TPS-affected communities.

DEMS MELTDOWN ON TRUMP’S ‘SHITHOLE COUNTRIES’ COMMENT: ‘THIS IS RACISM!’…COMMON SENSE IMMIGRATION IS NOT RACISM!

Posted on

President Trump used a layman’s profanity term ‘shithole’  in describing Third World countries like El Salvador and Haiti during an Oval Office meeting with lawmaker on immigration policy .

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”

Democrats are melting after Trump’s comment, calling it racist:

Rep. Tim Walz

This is racism, plain and simple, and we need to call it that. My Republican colleagues need to call it that too.

Trump said the U.S. should bring in more people from countries such as Norway, whose prime minister visited the White House on Wednesday, according to The Washington Post.

PRES. BLUNT TRUMP: ‘Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?’; ‘Dems Intent on Having People, Drugs Pour Across Border’, ‘My Duty to Protect All Americans’

Trump asked why US has 'people from s***hole countries'

  • President Trump: ‘The Democrats seem intent on having people and drugs pour into our country from the Southern Border, risking thousands of lives in the process. It is my duty to protect the lives and safety of all Americans. We must build a Great Wall, think Merit and end Lottery & Chain. USA!’
  • There are approximately 436,900 people with  ‘Temporary Protected Status’ living in the U.S. from 10 countries – South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Syria, Haiti, Nepal and Yemen.

From Daily Mail:

President Donald Trump, frustrated with America’s continued responsibility for immigrants fleeing Third World natural disasters, asked members of Congress Thursday in vulgar terms why the United States had to shoulder such a burden.

‘Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?’ Trump said, according to two people who were briefed on the meeting and then leaked the comment to The Washington Post.

Trump was reportedly speaking about Haitians and citizens of various African nations.

‘Why do we need more Haitians? Take them out,’ he told people in the meeting, according to CNN.

Instead, he said, the U.S. should seek to assimilate people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met with a day earlier.

…The White House issued a needle-threading statement on immigration policy Thursday afternoon, while not denying the story’s accuracy.

‘Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people,’ deputy press secretary Raj Shah said in the statement. ‘The President will only accept an immigration deal that adequately addresses the visa lottery system and chain migration – two programs that hurt our economy and allow terrorists into our country.’

TUCKER ON TRUMP CALLING EL SALVADOR A ‘SHITHOLE’: If not true, ‘they don’t need 17 years of Temporary Protected Status and migrants from there should be sent home immediately.’

Fox News Tucker Carlson’s answer to outraged media after Trump called El Salvador a “shithole”:

Option A: El Salvador isn’t a “shithole,” so they don’t need 17 years of Temporary Protected Status, and migrants from there should be sent home immediately. Option B: El Salvador is, in fact, a “shithole”

More than 262,000 Salvadorans currently have Temporary Protected Status — or TPS — in the U.S., allowing them to live and work in the country legally.

From Daily Caller by Benny Johnson:

A Thursday Washington Post report set the media world ablaze when it reported President Donald Trump saying in immigration negotiations with congressional leaders:

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”

The president was specifically referring to immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries and a proposal to restore protections to them.

The comments were made during a bipartisan meeting on immigration held at the White House Thursday afternoon. According to The Washington Post, lawmakers in the meeting were shocked at the president’s language.

According to The Intercept:

More than 262,000 Salvadorans currently have Temporary Protected Status — or TPS — in the U.S., allowing them to live and work in the country legally. Studies show that more than half of the Salvadoran beneficiaries, by far the largest group to receive TPS, have lived in the U.S. for 20 years or more, working jobs, paying taxes, and raising families — an estimated 192,700 American citizens are the children of Salvadoran TPS recipients.

El Salvadorian illegal immigrant Victor Antonio Gonzalez-Guttierres, 19, and Edgar Natanal Chicas-Hernandez, 17, were arrested for kidnapping and rape. The victim told police she was grabbed while walking home from school on September 2, taken to an apartment and raped for hours. They told the girl that they were acting on orders from a younger female acquaintance.

From Frederick-News-Post:

Two young men were charged and a third remains at large after a teen girl was kidnapped and raped, according to police and court documents filed last week in Frederick.

“This is very, very rare in my experience,” said Detective Joe Palkovic, an assistant supervisor in the Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. “The violence of it and the nature of the crime, the fact that this involves someone laying in wait, kidnapping the victim and then taking her to a separate location to rape her, is very rare.”

And a younger female acquaintance of the teen girl was identified in charging documents as the suspected mastermind of the crime.

MEXICO TO WELCOME MIGRANTS WITH OPEN ARMS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  • Mexico: Immigrants who opt to return to Mexico will be welcomed with “open arms,” Sada said, offering them assistance with work, finances and education.
  •  Hondurans forced to return home could face violence from gangs and drug traffickers.
  • El Salvador: “We will be lobbying to have legislation as soon as possible that opens a way out, that opens a bridge for the beneficiaries of DACA,”

( Reuters ) The announcement to end DACA, created by former President Barack Obama in a 2012 executive order, came during the final day of talks in the Mexican capital to modernize the North American Free Trade Agreement, adding pressure to already tense conversations between Mexico and the United States.

El Salvador’s foreign relations minister, Hugo Martinez, said on Tuesday that he would meet with members of the U.S. Congress in Washington to push for a solution within the next six months, before DACA’s provisions are set to end, aiming to protect the 30,000 to 60,000 Salvadorans who could be affected.

“It’s a worrisome situation. … We will be lobbying to have legislation as soon as possible that opens a way out, that opens a bridge for the beneficiaries of DACA,” Martinez said.

Guatemala’s foreign relations ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that its U.S. consulates would assist the thousands of Guatemalans protected under DACA, adding that that the ministry is counting on the “humanitarian sense” of U.S. lawmakers to ensure migrant youth are not forced to leave the country where many grew up.

The director of a Honduras migrant aid center, the Center for Attention for Honduran Migrants, called the U.S. decision “very sad,” and said young Hondurans forced to return home could face violence from gangs and drug traffickers.

The 31-year-old, who is a member of the violent El Salvadorian gang MS-13, was charged on Wednesday with sexually assaulting the toddler and stabbing two women in Hempstead

( Daily Mail ) An El Salvadorian man who has been deported from the U.S. four times is accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s two-year-old daughter and brutally stabbing two women in a vicious New York crime spree.

Tommy Vladim Alvarado-Ventura allegedly beat and sexually assaulted the toddler at the home he shares with his girlfriend in Hempstead, New York in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The 31-year-old, who is a member of the violent El Salvadorian gang MS-13, is also accused of stabbing a woman at a bar and brutally attacking his girlfriend in the hours that followed.

Police said Alvarado-Ventura was home with his girlfriend’s daughter and her four-year-old son while she was at work on Tuesday night. The children were being watched by another tenant who lives in a separate part of the home.

Authorities say he beat and sexually assaulted the girl, but it is not clear what time the attack took place. The child’s injuries were so severe she had to undergo surgery, ABC reports.

Police described Alvarado-Ventura’s violent five-hour crime spree as the ‘most heinous criminal act’ they had seen.

Alvarado-Ventura left the home at about 12.30am and went to a nearby bar where he got into an argument with a young woman over some marijuana
