The Clinton-funded Russian dossier via Fusion GPS, published by Buzzfeed, accused Michael Cohen of going to Prague, Czech Republic to meet with Russian agents.
ABC News reported:
Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s personal attorney and close confidant, says he filed a pair of lawsuits on Tuesday, one in state court against the popular website BuzzFeed and the other in federal court against the private investigative firm Fusion GPS.
In both suits, Cohen claims that the infamous dossier of salacious but unconfirmed allegations of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and Russian agents compiled by Fusion GPS and later published by BuzzFeed contained “false and defamatory” allegations that resulted in “harm to his personal and professional reputation, current business interests, and the impairment of business opportunities.”
According to the federal complaint, Fusion GPS, co-founded by former Wall Street Journal reporter Glenn Simpson, “recklessly placed [the dossier] beyond their control and allowed it to fall into the hands of media devoted to breaking news on the hottest subject of the day: the Trump candidacy.”
According to the New York state complaint, which names BuzzFeed’s top editor Ben Smith as well as Ken Bensinger, Miriam Elder and Mark Schoofs, Cohen claims “even though Defendant Buzzfeed expressly acknowledged the unverified (and potentially unverifiable) nature of the Dossier’s allegations, Defendant BuzzFeed published the un-redacted Dossier and the Article anyway — without attempting to determine the veracity of these reports with Plaintiff himself.”
CHRISTOPHER STEELE TRUMP DOSSIER USED UNVERIFIED SOURCES, SENT TO JOHN MCCAIN, USED BY COMEY TO OBTAIN FISA
- Mr. Steele acknowledges dossier came from “unsolicited intelligence” and “raw intelligence” that “needed to be analyzed and further investigated/verified.”
- Christopher Steele said he followed proper internal channels by giving the dossier to Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican
- Christopher Steele reportedly met with the FBI on Aug. 22
- James Comey considered the dossier so important that he insisted it be included in January’s final Intelligence Community Report on Russian meddling in the election and reportedly offered Steele $50,000 to corroborate the dossier
- The dossier was part of the evidence the FBI used to obtain a FISA warrant
- Mr. Steele says the ultimate responsibility lies with BuzzFeed, the liberal news website whose editor, Ben Smith, decided to post the entire 35 pages — memos from June to December — on Jan. 10 even though Mr. Smith said he doubted the far-flung accusations were true.
- Mr. Steele and his Orbis Business Intelligence firm are facing defamation lawsuit brought by Aleksej Gubarev, chief executive of the network solutions firm XBT Holdings,
British spy behind Trump dossier ordered to give deposition in BuzzFeed suit
Christopher Steele reportedly met with the FBI on Aug. 22. The dossier was part of the evidence the FBI used to obtain a FISA warrant to monitor communications of Carter Page, a peripheral adviser in the Trump campaign.
Former FBI Director James Comey considered the dossier so important that he insisted it be included in January’s final Intelligence Community Report on Russian meddling in the election and reportedly offered Steele $50,000 to corroborate the dossier—something the bureau denies paying.
…”We know from what Steele has said in the British lawsuit that – at Fusion’s instruction – he briefed reporters at The New York Times, the Washington Post, Yahoo News, the New Yorker, CNN and Mother Jones about the dossier,” Fray-Witzer said. “To their credit, not a one of them actually published the dossier. Only BuzzFeed did that and we think that says something about where BuzzFeed’s priorities were. This was about “clicks,” not about responsible reporting.”
Ex-spy admits anti-Trump dossier unverified, blames Buzzfeed for publishing
By Rowan Scarborough – The Washington Times

Christopher Steele, the former British spy who wrote the infamous anti-Donald Trump dossier, acknowledges that a sensational charge his sources made about a tech company CEO and Democratic Party hacking is unverified.
In a court filing, Mr. Steele also says his accusations against the president and his aides about a supposed Russian hacking conspiracy were never supposed to be made public, much less posted in full on a website for the world to see on Jan. 10.
He defends himself by saying he was betrayed by his client and that he followed proper internal channels by giving the dossier to Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, to alert the U.S. government.
Mr. Steele has not spoken publicly about his disputed opposition research project, but for the first time he is being forced to talk in a London court through his attorneys.
Barristers for Mr. Steele and his Orbis Business Intelligence firm filed their first defense against a defamation lawsuit brought by Aleksej Gubarev, chief executive of the network solutions firm XBT Holdings.
Mr. Steele acknowledges that the part of the 35-page dossier that identified Mr. Gubarev as a rogue hacker came from “unsolicited intelligence” and “raw intelligence” that “needed to be analyzed and further investigated/verified.”
- John McCain, R-Ariz., a vocal Trump critic, had copies of the full document before it circulated among journalists and was published by BuzzFeed.
WASHINGTON: Sen. John McCain faces questions in a defamation lawsuit about leaks leading to publication of the now-infamous dossier that alleged Donald Trump’s campaign had connections to Russian operatives, McClatchy has learned.
The dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele and his London firm, Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd., amounted to a collection of uncorroborated reports of collusion gathered as political research for sale to Trump’s opponents. It proved explosive when published by online news site BuzzFeed on Jan. 10.
Now, two lawsuits — one in the United States and a second in the U.K. — are being brought by lawyers for Aleksej Gubarev, a Cyprus-based Internet entrepreneur whom Steele’s Russian sources accused of cyber spying against the Democratic Party leadership.
According to a new court document in the British lawsuit, counsel for defendants Steele and Orbis repeatedly point to McCain, R-Ariz., a vocal Trump critic, and a former State Department official as two in a handful of people known to have had copies of the full document before it circulated among journalists and was published by BuzzFeed.
The court document obtained by McClatchy confirms that Sir Andrew Wood, a former British ambassador to Moscow and a Russia adviser to former Prime Minister Tony Blair, discussed the 35-page dossier with McCain.
“The Defendants considered that the issues were self-evidently relevant to the national security of the US, UK and their allies,” the document says, explaining why Steele and his partner, Christopher Burrows, felt it necessary to share the dossier’s findings.
CNN/BUZZFEED TO RELEASE NEW ‘RACIST’ TRUMP TAPE FROM THE APPRENTICE 48 HOURS BEFORE INAUGURATION…THIS IS THE FAKE MEDIA’S WAR ON TRUMP!
Infowars – According to the source, who wishes to remain anonymous, a two minute clip has been cut from out-takes of Trump’s appearances on The Apprentice which is “very damaging” and “nuclear in impact”.
The tape has been circulating for a while in an effort to attract rich backers such as Mark Cuban or Larry Flynt who would be prepared to take the substantial legal risk of releasing the video.
However, with Trump’s inauguration looming, “the plan is to leak it to CNN and Buzzfeed (as the ultimate f**k you) on Wednesday at 3pm,” claims the source.
The source added that he had the names of the people who were set to leak the tape and would be getting in touch with Trump’s Chief Strategist Steve Bannon to pass on the information.
Previous reports containing the existence of such a tape circulated before the election and resurfaced again on December 16 when comedian Tom Arnold claimed he had seen the footage and that it contained Trump saying, “every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever. It was him sitting in that chair saying the N-word, saying the C-word, calling his son a retard, just being so mean to his own children.”
PIMPFEET: SON OF RICK WILSON, ALLEGED SOURCE OF TRUMP ‘RUSSIAN HOOKERS PISS STORY’, RUNS RACIST, SADISTIC WEBSITE FANTASIZING ON RAPING AND URINATING ON WOMEN
Rick Wilson is alleged source of Trump Russian hookers piss story. Wilson famously called Trump supporters “childless single men” who “masturbate to anime” and cannot possibly “matter in the overall course of humanity.” Looks like Andrew Wilson a.k.a Pimpfeet, Rick’s son, has a lot of piss story of his own.
My friends targeted BuzzFeed because they knew that they would fall for it because they have no journalistic integrity. The piss stuff re Trump is in reference to this. https://mpcdot.com/…/8748-rick-wilsons-son-is-…/page__st__40
Rick Wilson attacked alt-right. They went after his son and found “Pimpfeet”, his high school son was posting raunchy erotica stuff.
…Though I wasn’t involved I love the creativity of people including “golden showers”, if Rick Wilson was involved. With his son advocating for pissing in women’s mouths last year, calling for sadistic scatplay, it’s perfect someone turned that back on him. Rick Wilson’s career is now over and Ben Smith needs to resign as editor in chief of BuzzFeed’s news division.I wasn’t involved but knew of the plot and wholeheartedly approved of it. Who is the fake news now?
Page 3 of 7 – Rick Wilson’s son is a goddamn piss pimp – posted in Patriotic Botnet Output:
QuoteThanks to his attacks on alternative-right fans of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, Rick Wilson is already Internet- him infamous. But Wilson’s vulgar, addled rant directed at Trump’s young supporters — they’re “childless single men” who “masturbate to anime” and cannot possibly “matter in the overall course of humanity” — was only the tip of the iceberg.Earlier today, Twitter users identified a Reddit account and a corresponding website administered by Wilson’s nineteen-year-old son, Andrew.Writing ostensibly in the persona of a “ghetto” pimp, Andrew Wilson (a.k.a. “Pimpfeet”) conjures lurid, disturbing fantasies centered on raping, beating, and even urinating on women. And predictably, the white, privileged son of a GOP careerist infuses his violent erotica with plenty of racism.
When a GOP Pundit Attacked, Trolls Responded. What They Uncovered Will Shock You.
During a recent MSNBC appearance, Republican “media strategist” Rick Wilson smeared Trump supporters as racist sexual deviants. But ensuing trolling revealed that Wilson’s teenage son maintains a sadistic website riddled with n-words — and dedicated to lengthy screeds about brutalizing prostitutes. The Wilsons know about the site. They aren’t apologizing.
WHAT! The Russian Trump memo – obviously not written in a valid manner – claims the Russians recorded Trump watching Russian prostitutes urinate on each other in a Moscow hotel room previously occupied by President and Mrs. Barack Obama. Guess what? The original story was created in November by a 4Chan user, was sent to anti-Trumper Rick Wilson, then they added a Russian twist to the story and voila! Trump Moscow sexcapade was born! No wonder Hillary did not use the story during campaign. Debunked prank!
FROM Gateway Pundit: OMG! FAKE NEWS and CIA Fell for Incredible “Golden Shower”Fable about Trump
Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan, and CNN got played by 4Chan.
According to 4Chan these documents were created by a 4Chan user and sent to anti-Trumper Rick Wilson knowing he would act on this tip:
4Chan discussed this tonight:
** Political hacks emailed documents to #NeverTrump jackass Rick Wilson about Trump making people piss on a bed.
** Rick Wilson thought it was real and gave it to leftists at the CIA
** The CIA of the USA put this in their official classified intelligence report on Russian involvement in the US election
** Donald Trump and Obama were both given private sessions with the CIA to discuss this.
** The CIA concluded that the Russians plan to blackmail Trump with this story we made up
The 4Chan users then link to this:
So they took what I told Rick Wilson and added a Russian spy angle to it.
They still believe it. Guys, they’re truly fucking desperate – there’s no remaining Trump scandal that’s credible.
Then there’s this…
If these journalists were real journalists and not fake journalists then they would have found that the original documents did not conform to CIA or UK intelligence requirements.
US or UK intelligence would never say “CONFIDENTIAL / SENSITIVE SOURCE.”
The Trump-Russia intel document headers are “CONFIDENTIAL / SENSITIVE SOURCE” and the source is allegedly ex-MI6.
The US and UK don’t use that header in ANY sensitive material.
Here is more on publishing rules:
FAKE NEWS! RUSSIAN TRUMP MEMOS ALL HAVE UNVERIFIED SOURCES, ERRORS AND INCONSISTENCIES – NO WONDER HILLARY DID NOT USE THEM!
- The cable news network noted that while the former British intelligence officer’s work is credible, the specific allegations presented in the document have produced inconsistencies and have yet to be confirmed.
- Left-wing Mother Jones’s Washington Bureau Chief David Corn noted that he did not even publish the full memos due to the uncertainty of their validity:
- The report also alleges that Michael Cohen, Trump’s attorney and legal counsel, was central to “the ongoing secret liaison relationship between the New York tycoon’s campaign and the Russian leadership” and that he met secretly with Kremlin officials in Prague in August 2016. However, Cohen has vehemently denied these allegations and noted that he has never been to Prague in his life:
