Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder Robert Johnson said that President Donald Trump is one of the best things to ever happen to the job market for black Americans.
Appearing on CNBC’s Squawk Box, the self-made billionaire insisted that despite the current lower-than-expected number of jobs created in March, the Trump economy is strong.
“When you look at that [January report], you have to say something is going right,” said the Democratic entrepreneur.
Johnson then added that Trump has been a boon for the black community.
“You have to take encouragement from what’s happening in the labor force and the job market,” Johnson told Squawk Box. “When you look at African-American unemployment, … you’ve never had African-American unemployment this low and the spread between African-Americans and whites narrowing.”
The television pioneer added that Trump’s policies have brought back into the job market people who have been out for a long time, “some of it based on discrimination, some of it based on changes in education, access and technology changes.”
RUSH LIMBAUGH: From CNBC: “Black Unemployment Rate Falls to Record Low — Unemployment among black workers is at its lowest since at least the early 1970s, when the government began tracking the data. The black unemployment rate of 6.8% in December was the lowest since the Bureau of Labor Statistics started tracking it in 1972, a year in which the rate ranged from 11.2% to 9.4%. In the 45 years the data has been tracked, the unemployment rate for black or African-American workers aged 16 years and older has never fallen below 7%.”
Now, to fall below 7% under Barack Hussein Obama or under George W. Bush or under Bill Clinton or under the promised presidency of Hillary Rodham Clinton? When did this happen? It happened in the last 12 months! Now, what happened in the last 12 months? Some moron who doesn’t know anything about what he’s doing, who is a childlike and who 100% say is unfit for office did it — or was presiding when it happened. What an idiot. What an abject idiot. I guarantee you, the Democrat Party is gonna look at this (chuckles) and they’re not gonna find anything to celebrate here.
( Chicago Tribune ) Democratic governor candidate Chris Kennedy on Wednesday accused Mayor Rahm Emanuel of leading a “strategic gentrification plan” aimed at forcing African-Americans and other minorities out of Chicago to make the city “whiter” and wealthier.
“I believe that black people are being pushed out of Chicago intentionally by a strategy that involves disinvestment in communities being implemented by the city administration, and I believe Rahm Emanuel is the head of the city administration and therefore needs to be held responsible for those outcomes,” Kennedy said during a news conference about gun violence in North Lawndale.
“This is involuntary. That we’re cutting off funding for schools, cutting off funding for police, allowing people to be forced to live in food deserts, closing hospitals, closing access to mental health facilities. What choice do people have but to move, to leave?” Kennedy added. “And I think that’s part of a strategic gentrification plan being implemented by the city of Chicago to push people of color out of the city. The city is becoming smaller, and as it becomes smaller, it’s become whiter.”
The mayor’s office responded by trying to link Kennedy to two Republican politicians who enjoy little popularity in Chicago — President Donald Trump and Gov. Bruce Rauner, whom Kennedy wants to replace.
This is shaping up to be another Hurricane Katrina—complete with a devastating impact on black and brown communities. Southeast Texas and the coastal bend regions of the state are expected to be the hardest hit. While Hispanics make up about 40 percent of the state’s population, Texas has one of the largest black populations in the country. And they live concentrated in the areas that are predicted to be hardest hit.
Collectively, black people are the most populous minority in Southeast Texas though they are scattered around. This demographic data is important because it tells the story of who is likely to be impacted. In short, this hurricane is going to do incredible damage to the areas where black people live and many aren’t in positions to evacuate or financially withstand the impact.
Inner-city blacks are rejecting calls from a Chicago Pastor to tear down the George Washington Monument and change the name of Washington Park
Inner city blacks: Attacks against our nation’s historical monuments are an attempt to manufacture a race war that won’t help anyone in the black community.
“While they’re taking about changing the name, our community needs jobs, contracts, and opportunity. This is a way to stop talking about black folks not working. Black folks get no contracts. Our schools are being closed down. Our houses are being boarded up. But you want to talk about a statue.”
Inner-city blacks are rejecting calls from a Chicago Pastor to tear down the George Washington Monument and change the name of Washington Park, and one community organizer says the attacks against our nation’s historical monuments are an attempt to manufacture a race war that won’t help anyone in the black community.
Following the fallout of the Charlottesville riots over the removal of the Democrat Confederate General Robert E. Lee monument, a Chicago Pastor is now calling to change the name of Washington Park and remove a monument to our nation’s first president, George Washington.
Chicago community organizer, Paul McKinley, invited my co-producer, Andrew Marcus, and myself; on a tour of the south side neighborhood surrounding Washington Park and the statue to hear from him and other residents their feelings on the media manufactured debate to erase our nation’s history.
McKinley, along with area residents we encountered during our shoot do not agree with Pastor Bishop James Dukes, and say George Washington should be left alone.
In our new short film, Smashing Statues: The Race War Hoax, released exclusively on Breitbart.com, McKinley explains, the whole Charlottesville debacle was a “bait and switch,” designed by democrat and communist revolutionary forces to distract the people from what is really going on in the community.
McKinley says, “while they’re taking about changing the name, our community needs jobs, contracts, and opportunity. This is a way to stop talking about black folks not working. Black folks get no contracts. Our schools are being closed down. Our houses are being boarded up. But you want to talk about a statue.”
The Democrat Party has proven it cannot feed the African American community. So they’re pretending that, okay, we’re going to fight your fight about something that’s got something to do with racism.
The Atlantic’s very lengthy essay on the failure of the eclipse to occur where a sufficient number of black people reside is entitled “American Blackout.” It clocks in at a remarkable 4,544 words and does not appear to be satire.
The Atlantic’s longwinded law professor assures readers that “implicit bias of the solar system” is “presumably” not the cause of eclipse’s failure to affect enough black people.
“Still, an eclipse chaser is always tempted to believe that the skies are relaying a message.”
Oregon, where the eclipse will first appear in the continental United States, “is almost entirely white.” “There are very few black Oregonians, and this is not an accident.” It’s totally on purpose in 2017, The Atlantic claims, because the Pacific Northwest state had a “racial exclusion” clause in its original 1857 constitution.
After an extensive discourse criticizing the U.S. Census, The Atlantic tells readers that the eclipse will travel through Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri. In this section of its essay, The Atlantic manages to drop the names of Bruce Springsteen, Jesse James, Eminem, Chelsea Manning, Michael Brown and Howard Zinn (a shallow socialist writer panned even by most serious socialists).
“There are too many damn facts,” The Atlantic also complains.

( Breitbart ) Sunday at the Men’s Day program hosted at Union Temple Baptist Church in Washington, DC, Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan said to President Barack Obama, “Your people are suffering and dying in the streets,” of Chicago, so “you failed to do what should have been done.”
Farrakhan continued by saying it is time to let Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump do “what he wants to because he is not destroying your legacy.”
So you Democrats, you been in their party a long time. Answer me, what did you get? You got a president. He is worried about his legacy
I just want to tell you, Mr. President, you’re from Chicago, and so am I. I go out in the streets with the people. I visited the worst neighborhoods. I talked to the gangs. And while I was out there talking to them, they said ‘You know, Farrakhan, the president ain’t never come. Could you get him to come and look after us?’ There’s your legacy, Mr. President. It’s in the streets with your suffering people, Mr. President.
