Actor and immigration activist George Clooney will move to Los Angeles with his wife Amal and newborn twins Ella and Alexander due to security concerns at his England estate, according to a report.
Life & Style magazine reported last week that the 56-year-old Oscar-winner will move his newly-expanded family to his mansion in Studio City, California, after deeming his 17th century mansion in Sonning, England to be not sufficiently safe for them.
“As soon as Amal found out she was pregnant, he hired former Secret Service agents to assess all his properties and make recommendations for improvement,” an unnamed Clooney “insider” told the magazine. “His mansion in Studio City [Calif.] was deemed the most secure, and it’s within minutes of an LAPD station.”
The insider added that the actor has received “serious” threats against his safety in recent years, as has his wife Amal, whose has in the past called for terrorist groups including ISIS to be prosecuted as part of her work as an international human rights attorney.
“He doesn’t feel like Amal and the twins are safe living in the English countryside,” the source told Life & Style. “He’s determined to move his family to LA, where he feels much more secure.”
The report comes as England has been rocked by terrorist attacks in recent months, including the terrorist bombing of a concert by pop singer Ariana Grande in Manchester in June that claimed the lives of 22 people, many of them young children.
Secret Service agents reportedly interviewed actress Kathy Griffin for more than an hour on July 4th over her controversial decapitated Donald Trump photo.
Dmitry Gorin, Griffin’s attorney, has claimed the comedian was merely exercising her “First Amendment rights to tell a joke” he told The New York Times.
“When you look at everything in the media, all the times entertainers make videos or express themselves in other ways, you’ve never seen an entertainer, let alone a comedian, be subject to a criminal investigation,” the attorney added.
News: Kathy Griffin has been interviewed by the Secret Service, in-person, for over an hour….investigation still not closed.
Ira Peskowitz, the father of 14-year-old Danielle “Cash Me Ousside” Bregoli reportedly begged a judge to restrict his daughter’s internet access out of his fear that she is being groomed for a career in pornography. Verdict? The judge denied the request.
As Starcasm.net reports, Bregoli and her mother subsequently road her internet fame to riches, building a brand around her attitude, amassing 10 million Instagram followers and using her platform to earn money endorsing products.
“She posts 24-7. It’s controlled by an alleged management team that promotes absurd behavior for a 14-year-old child,” claims her father.
Bregoli is reportedly dating a 17-year-old rapper NBA Young Boy, according to MTO News.
The teen who made a name for herself with the catchphrase “Cash me outside” pleaded guilty to several charges in a Florida juvenile court Wednesday.
Danielle Bregoli Peskowitz, 14, copped to charges including grand theft, marijuana possession and filing a false police report, which stemmed from an incident predating her 2016 appearance on the “Dr. Phil” show, where her catchphrase went viral.
Her father, Ira Peskowitz, was also in court and asked the judge to restrict his daughter’s internet access. The judge denied the request.
“My daughter is being exploited,” Peskowitz said after court, adding that he feared Danielle was being groomed for a career in pornography by people who want to cash in on her bizarre celebrity.
Peskowitz is fighting for custody of his daughter, who lives in California with her mother.
Jenn Jackson: Bruno Mars is a non-Black person of color (POC) who has recently decided that singing Funk music is economically productive. His role in the industry erases Black people.
A bitter Washington Post writer Jenn M. Jackson has had enough of people praising non-black Bruno Mars for ‘appropriating’ black culture and funk music and making money from it. NOTE: black women with straight hair, isn’t that a cultural appropriation?
Bruno Mars is half-Filipino from his mother, half Puerto Rican-Jew from his father side( His father is of half Puerto Rican and half Ashkenazi Jewish descent (from Ukraine and Hungary), and is originally from Brooklyn, New York). Mars real name is
Peter Gene Hernandez was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, by a family of musicians . Mars began making music at a young age and performed in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood.
Last Sunday, before the “24K Magic” singer even took the stage at the 2017 BET Awards Sunday night, Jackson fired off a tweet criticizing Mars:
“I really need y’all to stop with this Bruno Mars praise and be more critical about the ways we understand appropriation,”
She followed with more loony tweets, accusing Mars of using funk music for money while erasing black people from the industry:
He is a non-Black person of color (POC) who has recently decided that singing Funk music is economically productive
Listen, you can like Bruno Mars’s music and still be critical about how his role in the industry erases Black people. Then and now.
Taking our shit and repackaging it for white people is not innovation. Even if these non-Black ppl sing well, it’s appropriation. Period.
In Bruno’s case, ‘bringing Funk back’ essentially means, “Funk was a Black thing and now I gave it to white people.” That’s appropriation.
Yes, he gives “credit” to Funk artists on occasion. He also has a primarily white audience which has no memory or care for Black artists
I really need y'all to stop with this Bruno Mars praise and be more critical about the ways we understand appropriation.
Scott Baio : Congratulations, George Clooney on your billion $ tequila sale. In good faith you should give your share of the $$$ to Syrian refugees!
Liberal actor and pro-Muslim refugee advocate George Clooney just sold his tequila company, Casamigos, for a whopping $1 billion.
Twitter users are now asking the actor to spread his wealth to Syrian refugees: Why not use some of that money to care for refugees? Will you donate at least 50% to the refugees you claim to love/support?
According to The New York Times, Casamigos – the tequila company Clooney founded with two of his friends in 2013 – has sold to Diageo for $700 million in cash up front and $300 million should the brand perform well over the next 10 years.
Trump critic Clooney has also described the President as a “xenophobic fascist.”
Singer Miley Cyrus now claims she is a genderless, ageless “spirit soul.”
“I’m weird because I feel very genderless, I feel ageless,” she told ITV’s Ross King. “I feel like I’m just a spirit soul, not even divided by a human being. I treat the animals the same and hopefully treat the planet with as much respect as possible.”
“I feel very much like there’s no us and them, there’s no me and you,” she continued. “I feel like I want to be everything and also be kind of nothing. I just want to be myself.”
Hey Miley, keep talking weird and your fiance may leave you again and this time for good.
