Leigh Corfman: allegedly has a history of making false allegations, charged with misdemeanors and had issues with IRS . Below are the following:

Roy Moore’s main accuser Leigh Corfman has had three divorces and major financial problems. Filed for bankruptcy three times, once in 1991 with $139,689 in unpaid claims. She has had multiple issues with the IRS and has been charged with multiple misdemeanors as well. Hmm….

People in AL are posting on ‘s FB page that this “brave” woman – Leigh Corfman, has claimed several pastors at various churches have made sexual advances toward her.

If you’ve ever wondered what “rape culture” is.. it’s when a shitty blog tried to tell you the victim is a liar because she’s had financial difficulties, been divorced, or it’s happened more than once. 1 out of 3 women in this country will be sexually assaulted before they reach college… and it really surprises you that they might accuse more than one man? Or they might have relationship difficulties? Or they might struggle in life after the trauma? Instead, you blog about how they’ve been divorced and bankrupt… so they must be lying? You’re as bad as the child rapist you’re defending.. because people like you help form that culture.

        1) no claim of rape; 2) discrepancy in accusers claim of age at the time – 17 renders it a non-issue; 3) she’s a career liar & screw up; 4) the accusation comes at a far too convenient time – stinks of a set-up. So 5) not credible in the least – go peddle the bullcrap elsewhere.

Sirreal, a 32 year old man getting handsy over the underpants of a 17 year old girl, instead of a 14 year old is not a non-issue. Even if she was 17, it doesn’t matter if it’s technically legal or not–a 32 year old man pulling that kind of business is not someone to be trusted with public office. (Of course, Roy Moore has already shown himself incapable of holding public office.)

The timing of the news story is almost certainly strategic. But that’s why most parties vet their candidates before running them. Weak candidates like Roy Moore are vulnerable to this kind of revelation at their most vulnerable times.

The party should never have even considered Roy Moore in the first place. He’s been making Alabama the laughingstock of the country for decades.

How do they get that statistic? “1 out of 3”
        1. Clearly define “sexually assaulted”.
        2. Are they using proven, as in reported to the police, an arrest made and a trial and conviction? Or are they using “survey” numbers where they ask women of any age “Were you sexually assaulted before college?” Even that is a poorly worded question since not every woman goes to college. Did they only ask those that had attended some college? Or did they ask if they were sexually assaulted before graduation from high school? What about those that didn’t graduate from high school? You can see how false that number is.
        3. If “1 out of 3” were sexually assaulted BEFORE they reached college, what about the statistics relating to those in college? Did the question read, “Excluding the sexual assault you probably endured BEFORE you reached college, have you been sexually assaulted while IN college?” And what about the statistics AFTER college? In the workplace? Etc.
        4. How did they calculate the numbers? For example, when the woman accused nine Duke LaCrosse players of raping her, was that one rape or nine? If there were 10 women at that party, would the statistic have been “9 out of 10 women at that party were raped.”?
        5. If “1 out of 4 or 5” women are sexually assaulted in college, what sane parent would allow their daughter (Sorry for not being completely PC and inclusive. Female offspring doesn’t allow for transgender identity. Biological specificity would not included adopted or foster children. Etc.) to even go to college where she is more likely to be sexually assaulted than she is to lose at Russian Roulette (1 out of 6 chances)?

Multiple financial difficulties, divorce and other personal failings do not necessarily make someone a liar, but could be outward signs of their character. Unless there is a specific investigation of specific charges we can only go by what we see and hear of a person in public. There is a BIG difference between, “I’ve never heard my MeMaw utter a foul word.” and “My MeMaw NEVER uttered a foul word.” Were you with your MeMaw 24/7 since her birth?

As for the age difference. Would 24 and 42 have been OK? In whose opinion? Because seeing 14 and 32 as “bad” is just that, an opinion. There are laws regarding the age of consent, but that is consent for specific things which I’m guessing do not include dating or hanging out. All of the terms need to be defined and those definitions agreed upon for a civil discussion to ensue.

Just in case you have not noticed, there is also a culture of people trying to smear republicans to gain the upper hand. They have been and are very evil in the ways they go about doing these acts. One of many is finding people willing to lie for money. During an investigation EVERY angle has to be explored! You cannot allow someone to accuse another of a crime, especially a sexual one, and not investigate every detail completely. Taking people at their word when it comes political agendas just canmot happen in this day and time unfortunately. So my point is, don’t lash out at someone for investigating the person making the accusations about every detail of their “story”. Unfortunately stories such as these turn out to be faults and was only done to win the upper hand. Before you get so rude and accuse someone of being part of the “rape culture” as you call it wait for the full story to be revealed.

It is not surprising that they would use this type of smear campaign on Roy Moore. They use this tactic to put doubt about a persons credibility so that people do not vote for them. They tried that with Clarence Thomas and even with president Trump. I hope and pray that the citizens are smart even to see that is a set up to keep him from being elected. The Dems are afraid of him because they hate what he stands for which is Christian values.

Automatically believing an accuser turns our fundamental principles of innocent until proven guilty on its head. If accusations are enough to destroy someone, and if we unquestioningly believe people who make allegations, no one is safe. You wouldn’t want that standard applied to you if someone were accusing you. The only reason that you are ok with it being applied to someone else, is that you have an agenda and don’t care how that agenda is accomplished. Everything about this slander stinks. The 40 year gap in time. The insane way that the story is described. The fact that there are people who are claiming that this individual has a history of making these type of allegations. Keep crying and swinging your faux outrage, because what you are doing is really transparent.

If I recall my history correctly it was during the French Revolution that all one had to say is: J’accuse = I accuse, and it was off with your head. Many a male individual’s life has been ruined by simply being accused, especially when the accusation is of a sexual nature and even being found innocent, the people always remember the accusation and forget the verdict of innocent.

Totally agree, the whole story as in the WP stinks of a setup, way too much detail & way too much “Sympathy” unrelated add ons. like the, “I saw him on tv(25 years later) and wanted to throw up”, please! Most of my high school classmates I don’t even recognize after 25-30 years. It’s a typical add on that people add to make their story more credible. But what it does from an investigator’s perspective is gear up the ole suspicion of it being a lie. Rarely do witnesses get detail, BECAUSE THEY ARE TRAUMATIZED AT THE TIME. But if they “might accuse more than one man”, is Moore just another man they’re accusing? 50% of all RAPE complaints are false with reasons ranging from being late for a final exam to revenge to not getting back to the base before curfew. Alleging sexual “abuse” is easier – especially when it’s alleging conduct so far in the past as to be very difficult to check. If the claim had been, “Moore raped me last Wednesday night”, it might be possible for Moore to present an iron-clad alibi (“I was at a campaign rally with 10,000 people with 122 cameras recording my presence.”), whereas you don’t even know where you were a year ago – let alone 40 years ago.

I’d wonder too why these accusations are being made at this particular time. I mean, it’s been FORTY YEARS! Why in just the month before an election is this coming out? The only reasonable response is that it’s to affect the election – which makes the claims even less credible.

I would hope that the Judge would sue his accusers for defamation. That would put the burden of proof on them. Make them PROVED their claims or, failing that, let them face financial destruction. They deserve it.

“Rape Culture” is an artificial concept. Credibility of an accusation and the person making the accusation, or lack thereof, is at the very least a valid consideration. You have no standards of decency if you believe that all one needs to do is make an accusation for the entire machinery of prosecutorial jurisprudence to engage in the work of seeking Justice for a “victim” with a story about an event that she says happened four decades ago.

I am afraid in this day and age to compliment anyone because I don’t know if this person is mentally stable enough to know the difference between a compliment or sexual harassment! No, not every man wants you or your body! It’s a sad world when I can’t tell my co-worker her new haircut looks very nice! At the same time, there are several women I work with who wear v-necked shirts so low that they are practically falling out of them. If you don’t want people to look than please don’t put them on display! Dress appropriately and with decorum. If I put out a memo advising this — I’ll be bought up on sexual harassment for noticing whats on display!

First off, states have the right to continue with only heterosexual marriage, against the Supreme Court. Read the Constitution. Second, across all cultures and religions and ‘non-religions’, for the history of mankind, marriage has been heterosexual. Some say “So? Slavery was for all of human history and women couldn’t vote, but we changed that”. Wrong. There are currently over a million slaves in the USA and many more around the world, and women, after getting the vote, are not getting much respect, STILL, if you ask me and some cultures throughout history had the women ‘running the show’ (Hawaii is one), so it is not ‘new’. ‘Homosexual marriage’ is entirely new. You’d have to believe all humans throughout history were wrong and you are right to support it.

States do not have such a right. That’s what Obergefell was about.

Marriage has not been exclusively heterosexual across all cultures. Examples include Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, China, and Native Americans.

Slavery is illegal all across the US. That something still occurs illegally doesn’t imply that it should simply be made legal.

PS – Please explain Mary Jo Kopechne. What was her “sexual misconduct”? And if it was what I think you’ll say then I retract my “Just kidding.”

The point isn’t to claim that Republicans are worse than Dems. They’re all people, with their own foibles. If you start to look for information to cherry-pick, you’ll find it. Just because you’ve done so, don’t assume you’re right.

Leigh Corfman said it happened in 1979. Leigh was born May 1964. She was therefore 14 years old the first 1/2 of 1979 – NOT 17!

Easy enough to verify her age. Look it up in the High School yearbook. Just pop down to the school or local library and check it out. She couldn’t possibly have missed all four yearbooks. As for claims against pastors and other accusations, a simple legal search should find anything on her.

C’mon folks, do some real investigation like these outstanding investigative journalists from the Post did to be able to find not just one, but FOUR women out of the thousands that could have potentially had an intimate interaction with Moore. How on earth did they find those women? Inquiring minds want to know.

[…] Deborah Wesson Gibson works for Moore’s opponent Doug Jones as well as Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton, while Leigh Corfman has a VERY troubling past including a HISTORY of making false sexual allegations. […]

Now this is unusual if Roy Moore was really this kind of Villain why did this happen by women who have known him for a long time.

Here is the bottom line….If you want a baby killing, sodomite lover, gun grabber, then vote Dem. If you want a Christian, pro life, constitutionalist, then vote Moore. When Moore wins, they can do 2 things. Trust the Alabama voters and seat Moore, or send him to the ethics committee. The ethics committee will have to explore the facts, not just the politics. If the ladies can’t prove something happened 40 years ago, then Moore MUST be presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty. If he is found guilty and maximum punishment is recommended, then the Governor will appoint the next Senator. Going this way in the news to stain someone gets you a Godless, baby killer, who wants your guns, and men in the women’s bathroom. We will have gender neutral birth certs, and gender reassignment for school children. The Dems hate God, the US, the military, police officers, and Israel.
It’s time to get your voting priorities straight and vote for Moore. Voting against Moore is voting for baby killing sodomites. It’s a vote for BLM and Antifa. It’s a vote against the Military and the police. It’s a vote for Pelosi and Schumer.
For me, it’s not even a question.

[…] Alabama who say they know her would disagree. They have taken to Facebook and Twitter to say that Corfman has a history of making false sexual allegations. According to their posts, Corfman has falsely alleged that several pastors at various churches […]
