  • “When it comes to generous tipping, Republicans definitely beat Democrats,” Creditcard.com senior industry analyst Matt Schulz told Fox Business.

( Daily Wire ) According to a study conducted last month by Creditcard.com, Republican men from the Northeast are among the best tippers, ironically, yet unsurprisingly, tipping better than liberal do-gooders.

The study, running a survey via the Princeton Survey Research Associates International, “examined tipping behavior at restaurants, hotels, coffee shops and hair salons. It sampled 1,002 adults who used cash, credit or debit cards,” notes CNBC.

Republican men dining at a restaurant were found to have tipped a median of 20%, as opposed to Southern Democrats who tipped at a 15% median. Women also averaged on the stingy side, tipping a median of 16%.

“When it comes to generous tipping, Republicans definitely beat Democrats,” Creditcard.com senior industry analyst Matt Schulz told Fox Business. “Fifty-nine percent of Republicans say their typical restaurant tip exceeds 15%, while just 46% of Democrats say the same. Democrats are also more likely than their GOP counterparts to say that they never tip hotel housekeepers, hair stylists/barbers and coffee shop baristas.”

Though there were some significant differences connected to one’s politics, the study found that tipping mostly aligned with income level.

…..Aside from being more generous tippers, Republicans have also been found to be more likely to give generously to charities than Democrats.
