( Daily Mail ) Barack Obama is making the most of his two-day trip to Italy by staying at a sprawling $20,000-a-night hilltop villa in Tuscany and a five-star hotel in Milan.

The former US president is in Milan to meet with former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and speak about climate change at a sold-out conference on Tuesday.

He arrived in Italy’s business capital by private jet and reportedly took over two floors of the Park Hyatt hotel with his entourage – where presidential suite rooms cost almost $10,000 a night.

…. On Tuesday afternoon he will deliver a speech on climate change at the annual Seeds and Chips conference – for which 3,500 people have paid €850 each for a ticket, The Times reported.

This has raised almost €3million for the Obama Foundation, which was set up to help further his project of ‘renewal and global progress’.

After his work requirements, it is reported that he will kick back at the Borgo Finocchieto, a luxury 44-bed retreat in Tuscany.
