First Lady Melania Trump visits HomeSafe, a group home for domestic abuse victims  in Lake Worth, Florida, located a few miles south of Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach where President Trump is spending the Easter weekend with his family. Melania met with the girls only -ages 12 and 17 –  for 45 minutes and gave each one a gift. But the First Lady  gave Easter baskets and stuffed bunnies for the boys at other HomeSafe residences. HomeSafe serves a total of 40 boys and 7 girls at its residences.

Excerpt from the HomeSafeFL press release (photos here):

This morning, First Lady Melania Trump made a surprise visit to HomeSafe, and visited with the girls living in one of the five residential group homes run by the agency. Mrs. Trump brought gifts for each of the girls and spent time in the home visiting with all of them. In addition, she brought Easter Baskets and stuffed bunnies for other clients served by HomeSafe.

“We were thrilled to have the First Lady here and for our girls to spend time with her,” said Matthew Ladika, CEO of HomeSafe. “What a unique experience for them. This is something they will never forget.”

The First Lady spent about 45 minutes at the agency. The girls she visited with are victims of abuse, ages 12-17, who have been removed from their family and placed in HomeSafe’s residential program for treatment of the trauma they have suffered…”

Yes, I am enamored. Stunningly beautiful. Absolutely classy. No $15K attire to feed any ego (unlike some ape in heels). Our lovely First Lady, most humbly, visits those in need, those whose lives were in despair.
All of us, you, me, and everyone else are filled with a parental pride, with our First Lady, and makes the holiday of Easter, so much brighter. We can truly say, “This is the day God has made. Let us be glad and rejoice in it.”
