The girl has become a side attraction to those visiting the iconic bullThe Charging Bull was created by artist Arturo Di Modica to cheer up Wall Street after the 1987 crash

( Daily Mail ) The ‘Fearless Girl’ statue on Wall Street was briefly turned into a MAGA hat-wearing, American flag-draped Donald Trump supporter.

Shortly after midnight on Monday, a couple of men wearing red Make America Great Again hats who hid their faces behind scarfs and sunglasses sneaked up to the small bronze girl who is bravely staring down Wall Street’s iconic charging bull in Lower Manhattan.

A ‘tipster’ took pictures of the men putting a MAGA hat on the girl, normally in a skirt with her ponytail swinging.

They also draped an American flag around her shoulders and gave her ‘pro-Trump’ signs, one which read ‘VETS B4 ILLEGALS’ and another that had a drawing of Pepe the Frog, which has been deemed a white nationalist hate symbol, reported The Gothamist.

The little girl statue was commissioned by $2.5trillion asset manager State Street Global Advisors for International Women’s Day and has become nearly as famous as the bull.

The financial company was criticized for not putting its money where its statue is – the firm only has five female top executives out of 28.

New York politicians Public Advocate Letitia James and Representative Carolyn Maloney have suggested the ‘Fearless Girl’ become a permanent part of the Wall Street milieu.

It’s unclear exactly how long the little girl was an unwitting Trump supporter, but she appears to now be back to her skirt and ponytail.
