FLOYD MAYWEATHER’S VEGAS HOUSE BURGLARIZED, POLICE INVESTIGATE

Posted on Updated on

Las Vegas police are investigating a burglary of a southwest Las Vegas Valley estate owned by retired professional boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The burglary of the Wood Creek Court estate in Southern Highlands apparently occurred between Friday and Monday, when forced entry was made into the residence. Metropolitan Police Department records show that officers were called to the home just after 7 p.m. Monday.

Metro said in a statement Tuesday that it believes that “several items of value were taken.” No other details were immediately available

In litigation between the Estates at Southern Highlands homeowner’s association and Mayweather in 2011, court records listed the property as his home address. Current property records also show that Mayweather is an owner of the estate.

Mayweather was in Los Angeles to celebrate his 40th birthday last weekend when his estate was burglarized, according to social media posts showing off the extravagant Feb. 24 celebration at the JW Marriott LA Live.
