Guts and glamour: Tom Brady leads out the New England Patriots before Super Bowl LI gets underway

( Daily Mail ) The New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons are playing the first overtime in Super Bowl history after the game was tied with just seconds to play in the fourth quarter at 28-28.

Earlier, Matt Ryan and The Atlanta Falcons seemed to have taken one commanding step to their first Super Bowl and left Tom Brady and the New England Patriots reeling after racing to a 28-20 lead in the game.

But the indomitable Patriots started off the fourth quarter with the ball and after a five-minute drive had to settle for a field goal after Brady was sacked twice in the red zone by the Falcons defense.

A field goal by Gostkowski looked to be too little too late, but the Patriots caught a lucky break a short while later when they recovered the ball after a Falcons fumble and managed to quickly score, and then follow that up with two extra points.
