( Daily Mail ) President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended three inaugural balls across Washington D.C. on Friday night. The couple completed the evening at an event for the armed services where they waltzed with servicemen and women and thanked the country for its support.

In her first public remarks since assuming her new role, Mrs Trump said she was ‘honored’ by the privilege. They earlier danced at the Liberty and Freedom Balls to ‘My Way’, bringing the rest of the family on-stage after a few bars of music.

President Trump gave three short speeches, one at each event, which he used to reflect on the day’s events as ‘beautiful’. He paid tribute to his wife who, dressed in a custom-made ivory gown by French designer Hervé Pierre, won some of the biggest cheers of the night.
